Selecting the perfect site for your new environment will dictate the limits of your vision, and Alps will work with your team to choose the site that expands these limits based on financial impact, dimensional boundaries, infrastructure requirements, and ability to attain your anticipated occupancy.
Preparing budgets for site selection through design development, Alps will keep your project on track within the project’s financial goals.
The excitement that surrounds the final completion and occupancy of our client’s new workspace is what inspires Alps to track and keep the project moving to meet that anticipation. The detailed schedules include all phases of the project from preconstruction through final close-out. Setting the initial base timeline and updating progress provides a visual guide to track the project’s momentum.
The art of value engineering can be as subtle as changing a material finish without impacting design intent or as abrupt as eliminating something that is typically unnoticed and its absence would be undetected. The nuances of value engineering are implemented to improve the budget.
Delivery of materials and equipment in a timely manner is critical to maintaining productivity on your project. Sometimes it requires ordering of identified items prior to construction to insure that they are on the project site to not interfere with the progression of the project.
During subcontractor procurement, Alps invites qualified trade contractors to prepare pricing. Once bids are received, they are analyzed to equalize the project scope and cost across the field of bidders. The analyzed bids are then reviewed with the client to confirm final selection.
The construction pricing is prepared by assembling the qualified subcontractors with the lowest cost, long lead items, and value engineering into the final proposal.
Beyond construction, you may interact with vendors such as, furniture and equipment suppliers; network service providers; and movers. Alps will assist with coordination and include them in the construction schedule, keeping the process focused toward the targeted move-in.
As construction starts, the field personnel begin the sequence of work directed by Alps’ superintendent. While the project takes shape, Alps keeps the team apprised of construction progress through meetings and schedule updates, minimizing the amount of involvement required by the client.
The noise has quieted and finishes are in place. What was a vision weeks ago, is reality now. Alps guided you to this point and continues to be at your side as the movers deliver your boxes, IT equipment is tested, and you set up to be ready for business as usual in your new space.
As you are settled into your new environment, Alps is preparing the documentation which includes warranties, product manuals, finish schedules, and as-built drawings. This provides a digital reference of your project.
